Completed large job, 32 doors, in West Sussex. We were asked to install locks and electric releases on all the external doors of new building block at Brighton University. The aluminium doors had standard locks that we replaced with multi-point locks and/or electric releases. A challenging and rewarding job.

Finished the installation of a Videx combined 2 way colour video and digital access control system. We used one of the new Videx 4000 series door panels to provide control for 2 companies within the same building. A new Adams Rite latch and release replaced the existing mechanical keypad on the pair of aluminium main entrance doors. The doors required some remedial attention to provide for the all important locking/unlocking cycle. A little 'TLC' cured the problem.Videx combined video and digital door entry panel.

Supplied and fitted 2 replacement Chubb BS deadlocks keyed alike complete with 120 keys. It is rather unusual to provide that number of keys. So worth a mention here.

Supplied a Paxton Net2 plus system with combined digital keypads and card readers to control gated access to local sailing club.

A digital keypad allows visting sailors access to club grounds only during open events and the card reader allows club members free access at all times.

Controlling access for visitors was a major concern. It had to be both easily operated by them, they would be given a new access code for a particular event, and provide for the quick and easy deletion of the code once the event had passed. Then with membership approaching 300 the card reader would give each member access based on their annual paid membership status. Paxton's software gives intuitive PC based control over the system. So changing visitors access codes or blocking members cards can now be done wirelessly whilst lounging around the clubhouse, or remotely, using a laptop.

Paxton combined reader and digital access control system.
